Rev. Jonathan Williams
Pastor
Jonathan Williams was born and raised in a strong Christian home in Gastonia, North Carolina. He accepted Christ in high school and began to sense the Lord calling him into the ministry. Jonathan attended Appalachian State University and graduated from Liberty University in 2015. He was the Youth Ministry Intern at First ARP Church in Gastonia for two years prior to a position as youth director at Clover ARP Church. He served as youth director from 2014 to 2019. He also attended seminary during this time and graduated with a Biblical and Theological Studies degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2019. In September of the same year, he became the Associate Pastor at Clover ARP Church. begins his time at Lancaster First ARP in April 2024.
Jonathan and his wife Caroline met in high school and were married in December of 2018. Their son Noah was born in April of 2023.
Jonathan’s hobbies include woodworking, hiking, camping and golf. His aim is to grow disciples of Christ in knowledge of the Lord and love for Christ through the means of grace God has given to His church.
Stacy Pokopac
Secretary
Stacy is a transplant from Uhrichsville, Ohio. After working a variety of jobs in retail and customer service, and completing her Bachelor of Arts degree at Coastal Carolina University, she married David in 2000. Their daughter was born in 2007 and they relocated to Lancaster in 2010. Stacy has been church secretary since February 2016.
Carol Hinson
Accompanist
Carol was born and raised in Peru by missionary parents who served with JAARS. She studied music and Bible at Moody in Chicago, IL and CIU in Columbia, SC and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Carol met her husband Jay in California and they moved to Waxhaw, NC in 1990. She enjoyed playing piano from an early age and joined our staff in April 2022.
