ABOUT

Welcome

Our normal Sunday schedule begins with Traditional Worship at 10:00, followed by coffee fellowship and Sunday School at 11:15. Please check the church calendar for other events and activities throughout the week. Church should feel like home and a family. It is a place where you belong, are challenged, develop gifts, and use them. We invite you to join us to find your home and family at First ARP Church.

What is an ARP?

We are Associate Reformed Presbyterian:

Associate refers to our history in Scotland where our forefathers stood for the free offer of the Gospel to all sinners.

Reformed refers to our theology. We believe in the sovereignty of God, the need for the Holy Spirit to change a sinner's heart, and the adoption of sinners into the family of God as sons and daughters.

Presbyterian refers to our church government. We have a representative system consisting of a Local Session, Regional Presbytery, and National Synod.

First ARP Church seeks to be an authentic, evangelical, and reformed congregation. It is our purpose and goal to bring glory to Christ, to walk with Christ, and to share Christ with the lost. To learn more, visit our denominational website at arpchurch.org.

What do we believe?

"We, the members of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, in order to carry out God's mission and move forward together into the next century, profess our life together in Christ and our desire to set forth a united strategy for the work of His church. We express our desire to continue to be a Presbyterian and Reformed church committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and to the Bible as the Word of God."
